Brightly-Lit Weighing Chamber

Polaris PPB models offer LED illumination for clear visibility of powders and liquids, ideal in dimmer conditions such as poorly lit fume hoods. The Polaris draft shield may be removed and disassembled for easy cleaning.

Colour-Changing Display

Everyday lab weighing tasks are quicker: Polaris offers at-a-glance checkweighing to save you valuable time with a colour-changing backlight to quickly show if samples are within specified weight limits: red if too heavy, yellow if too light, and green if the sample is on target.

Internal Memory

Up to 200 ingredients can be stored in the internal memory (10 formulations each holding 20 ingredients) as well as up to 200,000 weighing results. Polaris laboratory balances provide GLP-compliant data, whether you’re printing results, or transmitting to a PC.

Internal Calibration

Many Polaris precision balances feature automatic internal calibration: A built-in, motorised weight self-adjusts for accuracy - triggered by time, temperature changes or the user. This eliminates the need for external weights and reduces manual intervention for consistent, reliable weight measurements.

Stainless Steel Pan

With an open platform, Polaris PTB and PBB top pan balances allow faster loading of larger samples without having to open a draft shield. This, combined with their larger capacities, makes these balances highly suited to industrial lab weighing applications.

All Polaris laboratory balances are supplied with an in-use cover to protect the balance – meaning it’ll last longer and less cleaning-down if it gets dirty. An easy-to-fit weigh-below hook is also supplied for below-balance weighing applications.
